Early American Primitive Furnishings

I love a good primitive, especially when they feel smooth to the touch.

Our American colonial history is rich with beautiful furnishings individually hand made by the colonists. I deeply admire our ancestors who, with intriguing ingenuity and skill, crafted for their families everything from precious baby cradles to salt box homes. Each piece was fashioned from the heart with time worn hand tools made by the local blacksmith. I truly love our Early American Tradition and have devoted the last 20 years of my life to the preservation of quality colonial craftsmanship.

I am in my 20th year of creating hand-hewn wooden bowls from white birch, primitive, with an old metal patch and soft satin patina.
